Frank Mineo Electrical Contractor, Inc. is looking for an employee with a great work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to wear many hats, yet who needs less hours and more flexibility. We feel this is a great job for a college student, or a stay-at-home mom looking to get back in the workforce. But anyone with the right credentials in need of a part-time job is welcome. We are a tight team and have a open position for a new team member.

Our Company Culture.

We’re a small family-owned business that’s been around for over 25 years, looking for someone to help with bookkeeping, some social media management, and various other organizational tasks.  At Mineo Electric, everyone is treated as family so while we can be flexible with hours and enjoy a good laugh, you’ll also have to be prepared for any curveball.

If you want a stuffy corporate experience, no need to apply. This job’s not for you!

Skills we’re looking for.

Organization; bookkeeping and/or business background; strong computer skills including a thorough knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, Google Apps; some knowledge of or experience with electrical or any other contracting is a plus.

Style we’re looking for.

Strong and mature work ethic, technically savvy, office work experience, ability to think on your feet, strong communication skills, team player, managing ability, a keen sense of customer service, you do not shy from challenges, ready and willing to problem solve.

What are you getting yourself into?

  • We’re flexible and we need you to be too. Average hours are 15 per week and vary.
  • Expect to wear several hats. Like many small companies, staff must take on several roles to work together.
  • It’s not glamorous. Our office is (ahem) not fancy. Our winning personalities make up for what the interior design lacks.
  • Sometimes it may feel like you’re working with your children. Don’t worry. We don’t go home with you.
